Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and can't do with the data. Most of this is common sense, all of it is enforced — violations get a 24-hour warning, then suspension.
§1Purpose
This policy applies to every workspace and lender on xlinked. It defines permitted uses of data obtained through the network. Violations trigger a written warning, 24-hour cure period, then suspension.
§2Permitted uses
- B2B prospecting, market research, and enrichment where you have a lawful basis under applicable privacy law.
- Internal analytics on aggregated, de-identified exports.
- Building features that display public LinkedIn fields to your authenticated users.
§3Prohibited uses
- Reselling raw profile dumps or offering "LinkedIn data APIs" without a written enterprise addendum.
- Harassment, stalking, or automated outreach that violates anti-spam law.
- Inference or scoring on protected characteristics (race, religion, health, sexual orientation).
- Credential stuffing, session sharing, or circumventing rate limits.
- Any write operation on LinkedIn (posts, messages, connections) — technically blocked, still prohibited.
§4Enforcement
We monitor anomaly signals (volume spikes, complaint rate, audit-log patterns). First violation: email warning. Uncured within 24 hours: workspace suspended. Egregious or repeat violations: immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid buyer credits (lender payouts for earned periods still settle).
